Ruffles and Lace...

Top: Topshop | Leggings: Yummie by Heather Thompson |
Boots: Stuart Weitzman | Sunglasses: Givenchy
Bag: Givenchy | Bralette: Free People

Fall has arrived, which luckily makes wearing boots in Houston semi-doable!
I love this, I'd say... weekend day dressy? Haha whatever that means! ;)
I LOVE this tiered-ruffle crop top from Topshop! Man, what a mouthful, try saying that 3 times fast..

I put a lacy bralette underneath, the top is a bit see through. Oh and just in case, I'm wearing a size small and runs true to size. These leggings that are Yummie by Heather Thompson (I bought at Nordstrom), are my FAVORITE. They have a high waist and tummy control, so I feel all held in and not self conscious.
This is my first post with my new Givenchy bag, which I am crazy about. It is the Mini Antigona, which considering the fact it is a mini, it can fit a full size Ipad in it, which is awesome and gives you some perspective. Also, another aspect about the mini that I love is it can also be a cross body. The sizes bigger than this only come with a shoulder strap. The shiny black leather is scratch resistant which basically made this bag irresistible. Shop my exact outfit above and below! xx

Blue Velvet...

Top: Frame (similar style here) | Jeans: Current/Elliot | Booties: Kendall + Kylie |
Belt: Gap | Sunglasses: Givenchy | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff |
Watch: Movado | Lipstick: Secret Salma by Charlotte Tilbury

Real talk: these booties are kickass!!! They are so hot!
The rich blue color is so chic and velvet is trending big time this fall and winter. They fit true to size and are so comfortable. They also come in a gorgeous burgundy color that is perfect for the season, I have them linked below!
My mom and I shopped a great sale this past weekend at Last Call, if I'm not mistaken it ends today, so get shopping! I picked up this super cute crop top by Frame and these Current/Elliott jeans for a steal!
It's my brother's 26th birthday this weekend and my cousin and his fiance are in town from Cali, so this weekend will be great! Whether you are out on the town or on the couch watching Netflix, I hope everyone has a great weekend! xx

Top: Free People | Skirt: Vince Camuto
Booties: Vince(old, similar style here) | Bag: Fendi

So I am definitely one of those girls dreaming about taking part in NYFW, but for now the internet is going to have to do! There were so many amazing trends strutting the runway this season, to name a few, belted coats, blue velvet, pink everything, bell sleeves, box bags, and leopard.
I think leopard is one of the easiest prints to incorporate in an outfit, considering it goes with just about anything. It can be as little as your belt or shoes, or as much as your coat! I really love this top from Free People, one of the details that is subtle and adds the perfect amount of femininity is the dainty metal buttons running down the back, it gives the top a little more depth. Another detail, would be the longer cut sleeves... I am ALWAYS cold everywhere I go, so I love having a sleeve that I can pull around my hands. ;) I am going to link a few more of my favorite leopard pieces down below! Hope everyone has a great weekend! xx

Casual Sunday...

Jeans: Frame | Jacket: AG(similar style here) | Tee: Free People |
Sandals: Rebecca Minkoff | Bag: Fendi | Sunglasses: Celine

This past Sunday Hamilton and I tried out another ramen joint off Washington, Ninja Ramen. They have a basic menu under glass on the table, which makes indecisive people like me happy. It was definitely yummy (they had a kick ass play list too) but it didn't beat my favorite ramen at Soma Sushi! ;)
Well, for a casual Sunday I love a great white tee and that perfect jean. I can't rave more about how much I love these Frame jeans! Besides their hefty price tag, the high waist, straight leg, and uneven cropped hem give you this amazing pair of perfectly fitting jeans, they do not disappoint. With my non-model sized behind (I'm sure many can relate), finding a really great pair of jeans can be difficult, which generally is my justification for splurging. Treat yourself sometimes! xx

Skirt: The Fifth Label(similar style here) | Top: Joie
Booties: Jeffery Campbell | Belt: Armani Exchange (old, similar style here) |
Bag: Fendi | Choker: Nordstrom

Happy Saturday and YAY for a holiday weekend!
I always love an all black outfit. It never goes out of style, it's always flattering, and you can wear it all year long, no matter what season. This specific skirt is not available in black anymore but it is still available in a neutral color, which I bought as well (I'm wearing a size small and it runs TTS). Here's a pic of how I styled the sand color!

I hope everyone continues to have a great weekend! xx

Fall Hues...

Dress: Nordstrom | Shoes: Joie (other colors here) |
Belt: Urban Outfitters (old, similar style here) |
Foldover: Clare V. x Equipment (similar style here) | Necklace: Nordstrom

Hi everyone!! Man its been a while!
It has just been so crazy hot here and raining pretty regularly, so it's hard to find time!
I'm hoping you guys can't tell I was sweating like no one's business! :P

All the stores are getting in fall fashion and I couldn't wait to style some great pieces for you. It definitely is still WAY too hot to wear sweaters and boots, but I have found some pieces that can transition perfectly. This midi-dress from Nordstrom comes in this rich rust color and a charcoal gray, both perfect for fall. I decided to put on a brown belt to accentuate my waist line but this dress also looks really good alone. I am wearing a size small, I maybe could have gone down a size, but I personally would rather have things a little too big than too small, especially with dresses like this that can be styled so many different ways! All the hype right now is wearing tee's underneath slip dresses and you could for sure achieve that look with this dress.
I LOVE these Joie sandals I purchased during the Nordstrom anniversary sale! They are 4 inch heels and still incredibly comfortable, which is a major plus. I am the one who will buy a pair of heels, wear them once and then never wear them again because they killed my feet.
Below I have picked out some of my favorite fall pieces that you can start wearing now!
Who else is ready for the season to change?! xx
